The
Islander, run by
Staffa Tours out of Tobermory, is once again doing daily trips to Staffa and Lunga. It's a memorable day out, the highlight at this time of year being....
....the puffins, but it's worth doing at any time, with the chance of seeing all sorts of wildlife including dolphins, basking sharks, minke whales and sea eagles - to name but a few.
Intrepid Italian couple Lara Ferrarotti and Filippo Perratone went on Sunday's trip and brought back some super pictures, including these of a puffin and a shag. Lara's description of the day was, "really amazing, a beautiful day out!"
Lara and Filippo run the new
Skipper's Cottage Bed & Breakfast business in Pier Road in Kilchoan, just along from the pier where the
Islander picks up her passengers.
Lara and Filippo have had a flying start to their new business, with lots of people booking - well done Lara and Filippo.
