I was holding a watching brief over Geoff and Connor near the point we saw Martin and Debbie Holt capsize at the Glas Eilean bouy so made the decision to motor over to them as earlier we had seen Geoff and Connor re-right their dinghy unaided (picture above) and decided that the Holts may need more assistance. I had Justin in the boat which was great as we had to pull Debbie and Martin out of the water as they got tired and cold after 20 minutes trying to get their dinghy upright in very challenging conditions. The race was curtailed at that point as it would be difficult for one safety boat to cope with more people in the water.
