Looks like the Amaryllis is a brand new boat, built in Germany and registered in the Cayman Islands. She was in Portsmouth in November, in the Isle of Man earlier this week, and apparently belongs to American businessman Richard DeVos, who owns the Orlando Magic NBA team, and is Forbes' 254th-richest man on earth.
That's definitely the yacht. Many thanks, but would love to know what it's doing cruising up the west coast at this time of year, unless Mr DeVos wanted to try it out in some stormy weather.
For anyone with a knowledge of luxury yachts who might be able to help with the name, this is a blow-up of one of the pictures of the yacht.
