Wintery showers continue, and there's now a good covering of snow on the hills - the picture shows Ben Hiant and, to the left, the croft of the same name. It's not pleasant weather, just cold and damp, but at least the wind has dropped.Despite continuing snow and hail showers, a village resident was flown to hospital last night from the Community Centre playing field. The helicopter concerned, Rescue 177, is the Royal Navy machine which flies in from its HMS Gannet base at Prestwick.
